Educators,

Are you ready to take your students on a virtual journey to one of the most remote and fascinating ecosystems on Earth?

We invite you to apply for our Video Teleconference Calls (VTCs) to Antarctica program (see attached),  part of the Palmer Long-Term Ecological Research (LTER) initiative. This unique opportunity allows classrooms to connect directly with scientists studying Antarctic food web ecology and long-term environmental change.

What’s Included:

  • Live video calls with Antarctic researchers
  • Access to our engaging curriculum: Data to the Rescue: Penguins Need Our Help
  • Hands-on activities that build data literacy and encourage scientific inquiry

This program is designed to immerse students in real-world science and inspire the next generation of environmental stewards.

Important: We only have 21 slots available, and they fill up quickly!

If you’re interested or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

We’d love to help bring the wonders of Antarctica to your classroom.
