TITLE: Hydrographic Data Collected Aboard RV Polar Duke March - May 1993 AUTHOR: DA Smith, RC Smith, D Menzies CCPO Technical Report No. 93-04 SIO Reference Series No. 93-43 Palmer LTER Contribution No. 30 From 25 March to 15 May 1993, an extensive hydrographic survey was made of the Palmer Long-Term Ecological Research (LTER) peninsula grid (Waters and Smith, 1992) as part of a multidisciplinary cruise aboard the RV Nathaniel B. Palmer. The cruise departed from and returned to Punta Arenas, Chile. The survey portion of the cruise covered an area that extended about 900 km alongshore and about 200 km offshore along the western side of the Antarctic Peninsula (Figure 1). This data report presents the CTD measurements made as part of this cruise. The CTD data were, for the most part, collected and processed at sea by LTER personnel. Final corrections and processing of the CTD data were completed after the cruise at the Center for Coastal Physical Oceanography (CCPO). Tapes of these data at one-meter resolution have been sent to the National Oceanographic Data Center.
