During the 1992-1993 field season, we had the unique
opporutnity to study the seasonal variability of H2O2 in the 
surface waters of the Palmer long-term ecological research 
(LTER) study region.  In excess of 1,000 water samples were 
collected from 64 degrees S to 68 degrees S.  Repeat hydrographic
surveys were conducted on three separate cruises aboard the R/V
Polar Duke (PD92-09, November 1992, and PD93-01, January and 
February 1993) and R/V Nathaniel B. Palmer (NBP93-02, March
through May 1993).
